Sunny Waller will be doing an open gear lab during the event and welcomes anyone to stop by. REI will have a shakedown area for checking pack fit, boot fittings, answering gear questions, etc. Our new Amicalola Falls Ridgerunner, Rachel Cheatham, will be doing a talk and Q & A on hiking the AT from a women’s perspective. This will be in private room from the main speaking area on Saturday at 3:00 pm.

David Miller, author of "AWOL on the Appalachian Trail" and "The AT Guide" 
shares his extensive knowledge of the trail !






11:00am - "DIY (Dehydrate It Yourself) BACKPACKING FOOD "
Judy "Heartfire" Gross of  Lightheart Gear will teach you the in's and out's of dehydrating food for the trail 
and offer comparison tastes of home vs. commercially dried food.
